This was a fabulous place to stay. The luxury apartment had everything we needed, was very comfortable and was spotlessly clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit in the area. (They had also provided us with some basic groceries which was great as we arrived late at night.).The location is wonderfully picturesque, quiet and peaceful and the towns of Aljezur and Rogil only a few kilometres away. The beaches are amazing, perfect paradise! With some wonderful wild walks along the coast line too. You do need a car though. I would certainly recommend this to others.

+ “Gostei do sossego.

+ “Four brand new stylish two-bedroom cottages in the lovely hills between Aljezur and Rogil. On the N120 turn onto gravel road at the Don Quichote wind mill just before Rogil and follow the signs. A few kilometers from the unspoiled beaches and impressive cliffs of the western Algarve coast. British owners Matthew and Olivia Ambrose very friendly. Bottle of wine, bread, butter and cheese to welcome us at our arrival! Eco-friendly accomodation, tasteful design, well-equipped kitchen, great double showers in bath room, BBQ, large terrace, swimming pool, tv, wifi, bodyboards/dvd's on loan. Great value, don't miss out.”

A Fantastic place to stay

My family and I arrived at Moledos with a wonderful warm welcome from the Ambrose family. Our apartment was superb, the bathroom is something you would find in a 5 star hotel. As well as being spacious it was beautifully decorated and finely appointed with a stunning kitchen, which we made full use of on our stay. The sliding glass doors which led onto our own private veranda were just fab, we could sit a stare at the sensational views all day long.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Moledos. The children especially loved the Woodland Adventure trail, which had been made by the Ambrose family themselves. Moledos was truly a wonderful and tranqual place to stay. The welcome that you get here is next to none.

The beaches are easy to reach and our kids loved surfing at Amoreira Beach, there is a little cafe here where you can enjoy a beer or two in the sunshine whilst still watching the children. We were able to stock up on supplies at the local supermarket in town. The town also has a morning fish market where you can pick up some lovely fresh for the bbq (something not to be missed) eating alfresco here is a common event, something our family is really not used to back in rainy London.

We highly recommend a holiday here as there is so much for the family to do. Aljezur is such a beautiful place we will most certainly be coming back to stay at Moledos.

The first visit to Portugal for my wife and i and our young familly and what a stroke of luck to find this wonderful accommodation, in our view everything from the house, the location, the views the fixtures and fittings and the welcome was first class .For example we have come across his and hers sinks in a bathroom but never his and hers walk in showers just brilliant with two children simple but great fun for them and quick and simple for us.

The open layout of the living, dining and kitchen just ideal for a familly holiday comfortable and very practical and extremely well equiped even our own outside barbeque which was a great favourite with such wonderful weather

There were many wonderful beaches on the doorstop to choose from and good local restuarants we would particularily recommend the one in the corner by the footbridge in town great food and great prices.

The owners were charming, and helpful nothing to much trouble with two great kids of there own.

I know i might appear to be over the top in my appreciation of Moledos but we had a wonderful time and will return again and perhaps many more times
